I don't mind Green Day, I liked one song of there's alot. It's old but it was a very big hit. I can't remember the name.

I'm assuming you're talking about that "Time Of Your Life" song they had waaaaay back? Or perhaps "Minority"...but that was less. But oh well, yeah, I feel the same way about them.

I love them.
I remember when I started feeling old, I said 'I love Green Day.' and the person I was talking to said 'Green Day? What's that?' **sigh**
I definately agree, the old stuff is better. I love Billie Joe, he's such a cutie.

I like their new single actually, it's really catchy. I loved "Time of Your Life" and "Basketcase". They both bring back good times....ahhhh *takes a trip down memory lane* lol

Old green day rules all. :)

Even though it's not old, I love the song minority. It's just a fun little song.

Recently their American Idiot song has begun playing on NZ music channels, I think the video leaves alot to be desired and the song is fairly generic. Nothing good or bad, just another band for me.

I have no idea, and Im guessing no one else knows or I hope they would answer you because if they didn't that would be rude. *looks around* Ahem.

I googled but it only brought up results for CCR, guess we'll just have to wait and find out.

I've only heard Time of Your Life and Americal Idiot. Not bad really.

Favourite Son isn't a cover, you can tell by the lyrics. All about how a "certian person" isn't what people thought he'd be. It's on the "Rock Against Bush Vol 2" album. ;)

Rock Against Bush Vol 1 & Vol2 are both great by the way :)

I've never heard Green Day's but I am familiar with the original. I can imagine it done in Green Day's style so it probably is.

EDIT: Never mind. Wrong song.

The only album I have is Dookie (gift from a cousin). At the time the only song I liked was "Basket Case" because the boys in my 5th grade class rewrote the lyrics for class about being drug/alcohol free.

"We don't have the time to drink a glass of wine" :P

Wow....Green Day's been around for a while....

I was so upset that I didn't get to go and see Green Day last week at the Leeds festival.
And to make things worse my friend that did go kept ringing us up on his mobile and playing Green Day down the phone to us. :x
