Meh, I like it- I'm sure the Christmas one will be even better. Remember, this is the FIRST ONE that they've ever released- That being said, I think we can begin to expect even greater from it!

I can't wait to see the other sidebars in use. I'm wondering if they are going to let us keep this one or if we will have to do something speical to get it back.

I don't think the sidebar per se is what's lagging the system. Think normal (i.e., increased) traffic for the weekend, plus the people going to (or searching for, if they don't already know where they are) the Trick-or-Treating sites, plus all the people doing an awful lot of Shop Wiz refreshing to get more goodie bags, plus all the people I'm sure are going on & on about the new sidebar and trick-or-treating spots and the (not-yet-openable) bags on the NeoBoards. . . .
The sidebar itself, though, once you've loaded each of the six villains once each, would take about the same time to load as the yellow one.

Don't know if this is been posted, but if you want to change back to the boring yellow bar, you can do it in Held > User Prefs > Site Prefs
I love these new side bar options! I hope everyone gets to use them all and won't be hard to get like some avatars. I think these are more special than avatars because you get to see them all the time and not just when you use the boards/guild.

I didnt get the RE but I checked under user prefs and the option was there.
