Terask II is not immune to shockwave on all difficulties.

Don't be afraid to see the truth, even if no one wants you to. Be yourself and not a fool. Don't ever be afraid to speak your mind and listen to criticism. Dissent is keeps our country progressive and willingness to challenge yourself is what keeps yourself ever evolving.

You can't flee at all. Why would you want to ruin his one-chance amazing, heart-striking entrance? :P I mean, surely once you flee he can't just fly back out and rebuild the roof again! An evil villain has no time for that :P

Yes, I'm sure. If you die on Insane, no matter where you were, you will have to start over.

Gone, forever.

Yes, level-less (ok, level 1 ;) ), spill point-less, Trestin, armour/potion-less.

Okay. Potions. Somebody please give me a detailed explanation.

I'm in Faerieland, and up until now, I've never had to use potions, because I'm way too conservative and thusly am always overleveled, so it's easy to own the bosses. (*is at level 52, just entering the lost city where the Devilpuss resides*) However, obviously I can't be overleveled for Terask I and II, so I think it's about time I learnt how to use them.

So any tips? And how long do they usually last? Like 10 seconds or so? Or? And I don't really understand how Hasting and Slowing work, exactly. If you usually say, take 5 seconds before it's your turn again, and you've been slowed 5%, does it just take 5% longer for you then? And yeah, how long does Mispy's Group Haste last?

Alright, 'zat all!

I have a weird feeling potions last a number of turns, rather than seconds. Anyhow, my expirience says 40-55 seconds / haste potion.

Mipsy's Group Haste is mostly irrelevant, as it can be recast as often as you want (it lasts about the same as a potion). You wouldn't use it much against Terask.

I don't really see what haste potions do...they make your party members' turns come up faster?

Yup. You'll see when one of your charactors gets hit with petrification it takes years for their turn to come again if left unhastened

Hmm. I've never thought to test that. However, I suspect they last by number of seconds, not number of turns, and that it just looks like it goes by number of turns because your party tends to get a similar number of turns for a given number of seconds.

At least, I am certain that's how Mipsy's Damage Shields, Velm's Group Shield, and Talinia's Multiple Target recharge works, as I've tried it (both by making party members take turns every second so the number of turns they get in a given time increases and making them take turns every 5 seconds so the number of turns decreases). Those definately go by time, not turns.

I have the sneaking suspicion that the length of time that a potion lasts depends on the level of the party memeber/monster, although I could be wrong. I think your best bet is to experiment a bit before you hit with Terask II with the (replacable) highest-level damage and haste potions.

I think I used Terask I as my test case. :-)

I think it is important to know how long the potions last though, especially on Insane. Knowing that the Coma potion on Terask II was going to wear off in time to start tossing more potions before it actually did, helped a lot. Unfortunately I no longer remember how long it took.

I think haste potions last a certain number of turns (not seconds), then wears off, that's for everybody, no matter what level. I think the coma potion lasts the same, if not that then I think it depends of the level of the person who threw/casted the potion/spell.

Oh, and vice versa for the other haste and slow things....
