Either people are getting wise and trying to price their items double or triple what the other lines do, or they're simply uninformed, and believe that they have one of the lower prices for the item.
Like, some items can be searched and found for 40k on the bottom of one list, then, for about 8k on the bottom of another list.
I don't like the way this is (apparently) being exploited.
I honestly don't think people are exploiting that on purpose. It just appears for some reason that some lines don't have many sellers on them. I noticed it right after they did the shop wiz change. There are hardly any sellers--of anything, mind you--on the i/x line. My daughter is on that line and cannot figure out why the lowest price on her line is 25K when every other line is 10K. Perhaps, there used to be a lot of people with user names that started with i and they are no longer around--quit the game, frozen? Maybe all of the ilove__, iam___, iwant___ usernames were the most popular type to first be created. And, now many of them are no longer active. I can't think of any other logical reason.
One other thing that I would like to point out. I think whether your item sells also has a lot to do with what you are selling. I have no problem whatsoever selling my easy-to-sell items, whether they are on my main g/t account or my secondary j/w account, but my rarity 98 and 99 foods have sat for months--even though they are the lowest price of all 13 lines. There is just more demand of some things than others. I have found that the easiest things to sell are bottled faeries, one and two dubloon coins, the plainer neggs that are under 6K, the cheaper food shop foods like milkshakes, and the more common petpets.
Tested made this fabulous set for me!!! Isn't it great?
