If you have a white dot with a black ring around it, then you have placed a symbol correctly. If you have a totally black dot, then you have placed a correct symbol, but in the wrong place. If you do not have 16 dots, then some of the symbols you have placed in the tablet will not be on the tablet at all at the end of the day.
Once you have completed the tablet, you will go to the fortune teller and she will give you a pat on the back and nothing else.
You will not get an identical one-for-one translation in any direction from Sakhmetian to Qasalan characters. Just because a character means one thing in one place does NOT mean it will mean the same thing in another place.
This was surprisingly easy to figure out. Just click on one place, and try placing the various characters in that one place until you get a new white dot. Work your way down the tablet until you've figured it out.
