Your Pet is Sick Explained

When your pet is sick, the things you can do on the site become restricted. it is always best to cure your pet by any means possible before doing anything else when they fall ill. Things such as the Battledome are restricted from ill pets. Here’s a helpful FAQ explaining how to get your pet healthy again.

What do I do when my neopet gets sick?

You must give your neopet the antidote. A list of sicknesses and antidotes are provided here on this site.

Where can I buy the antidotes?

They can be bought from the Pharmacy located in Neopia’s shops. They can also be bought from the Shop Wizard, traded on the Trading Post or through a friend.

Neopoint Tips for Newbies by Bradley Arndt

1. Make a Shop- It is very cheap to make one, and will bring you LOTS of Neopoints!

2. Sell Codestones and Map Pieces- A lot of people like these, they will sell quickly and it
will make 1,000 to 8,000 Neopoints for you.

3. Lower your prices- If the prices in your shop are a little lower than everyone else’s, they will sell quicker.

4. Freebies- Play the Tombola and the Fruit Machine once a day. Also, every 30 minutes you can heal and make your pets stronger at the Healing Springs.

5. Trade- You can usually find good deals at the Trading Post.

6. Play games- This one is easy! Most of Neopets.com’s game’s are easy and can make you TONS of Neopoints.

Auction and Trade Help by xxtinkrebellaxx

The first thing you need to know about auctions and trades is: ALWAYS LOOK FOR THE LOWEST DEAL. It may seem obvious, but sometimes the right trade slips right by, so keep your eyes open!!!

To go to auctions now. The best way to bid on an auction is to bid on a “ghost auction”. These auctions have 5 or less bids every hour. Personally, I bid ONLY when the amount of time left in the auction is <30 minutes because you have a better chance of getting it then.

If you are the one MAKING the auction, here are some helpful hints. First of all, make sure you check the auctions BEFORE you make it, so you can set the first price lower than all of the other prices. make the minimum increment at most 3% of the original price. In other words, if the item you are auctioning is 800 neopoints, make sure you make the minimum increment under 100 neopoints.

10 Steps to Getting Rich on the Trade Boards by druid_in_bear

SaleFirst I would like to say, this is not a get rich quick scheme. It is going to take a lot of time to do, but it works.

Some weeks you may only earn 100k, but some you may earn a few million. Also, if you don’t already have some money to work with, I would continue to play games until you have enough to buy/sell things worth more than 100,000 neopoints.

Now on with the guide.

  1. BUY LOW SELL HIGH – This is obvious. but also, when you’re haggling, always start WAY, WAY low, the worst a person could do is say, “no higher”, the best they could do is accept. Same when selling, start fairly high, people will most likely haggle it down (unless your lucky) but that will happen even if you offer a fair price.
