The Wocky is a cat-like Neopet released on November 15, 1999 as one of the original Neopets on the site. Like Scorchios, Wockies are extremely outgoing, friendly and adventurous. Loving the great outdoors and the feel of the wind on a sailing ship out on the seas, these Neopets, along with Scorchios are usually the reason for treasure discoveries. Unafraid and brave, a Wocky is a perfect and powerful member of any battle or adventure.

• As of March 2010, over 7 million Wocky's have been created, placing them 15th in popularity. There are also featured in 150 different items.
• In the Neopets TCG, Wockies are associated with the element of Fire.
• The Mallard makes a loud wail when it's frightened, which sounds similar to the Wocky.
• Many people think a Wocky is named after The Jabberwocky, a poem by Lewis Carroll.
• A Mutant Wocky Transmogification Potion was released, but the pet itself cannot be transformed into this color as of right now.
• Before the Neopets 2.0 revamps of all Neopets, Wockies received art updates on November 20, 2000 and March 25, 2004.
