Battledome Equipment stats

Seeing as this is a fairly new template, and it hasn't even been decided yet if the type of articles it's being used for will be accepted, this is currently on trail basis. In either case, i'm willing to discuss changes to this.

Wouldn't it be better to show the data via the style of In-Depth Battlepedia's template? It's easier and quicker to understand, and is more appreciated by the reader, because it's something similar. --Jacob 22:54, 3 Jul 2007 (UTC)

alright, some suggestions which can make placing this on an article make it look good, and have it look better in general.

1. Every article needs to have an image talking about the subject which is being spoken of. Because the image of the Battledome Equipment is going in this template, the template will need to be placed where the normal images would go.
2. Using numbers to show what damage the weapon does? Why not show the element icons instead? And instead of using the same image over and over, why not use the Ultra Attack Chive Of Death approach, and place the number of icons each weapon does?
3. The Item Description needs to go in the template. it's to small a notation to be placed in the article text, and this is already being done in the In-Depth Battlepedia weapon templates anyway.

So those are my suggestions for now. will be uploading the "element icons" into our image database if using them as i mentioned is preferred. Please make note of the weapon templates used in In-Depth Battlepedia and the Neopets Battlepedia for more ideas...in fact, i got one right now: should we note if a weapon is a "Ranged Attack" or "Close Attack" as they are showing on Neopets? It DOES change the stance of opponents when certain items are used. --Jacob 00:18, 4 Jul 2007 (UTC)

Would like some reassurance from another admin or collective users on this, and if the design i have should be the final one. If not, more improvements can be made. PLEASE. I don't want to modify all the articles just to go over them again. :( --Jacob 04:05, 7 Jul 2007 (UTC)

As a ways to fix linking to all the images on Neopets, i'm uploading all the icons to our database. For reference, the "B.E." stands for "Battledome Equipment", seeing as these icons represent the attack/defense/stats of Battledome Equipment. --Jacob 04:42, 7 Jul 2007 (UTC)
