Article Title?[edit]

The title is "old neopets", showing the name changes and art changes taken place with all the Neopets. But Petpets were just added, so either the name needs to change to something like "Old Designs of items and pets", or a whole new page needs to be created.--Jacob 11:21, 28 May 2006 (CDT)

Well, it seemed logical to condense them into one... Maybe a name like 'The Darwin Project'? ;). Yeah, I think renaming the article would be the best thing to do. --Macbeth 11:36, 28 May 2006 (CDT)

So a rename is in order...hmmm...how about "character Redesigns" or something? And will items/petpets be included?--Jacob 11:50, 28 May 2006 (CDT)

PetPets certainly, since they are... you know... Petful. Items, though, I think a separate article would be best. Do you understand the distinction I am trying to make? Petpets and Neopets are characters, whereas items have no implication of sentience (usually :P). 'Character Redesigns' sounds good to me... Or 'Neopets Redesigns', 'neopets' being the site rather than the pets? --Macbeth 12:08, 28 May 2006 (CDT)

Petpets are characters in a way, but they are still items (can be eaten unlike Neopets :D ). I think this page could be used for all art redesigns, including items, thereby making the title Neopets Art Redesigns better. But if they are all in seperate pages, it would be Neopet Redesigns, Petpet Redesigns and Item Redesigns...right?--Jacob 12:51, 28 May 2006 (CDT)

Neopets Art Redesigns, yes I like that. I think both Neopets and PetPets would be able to fit into this article, but I think Items should have a seperate page: there have been hundreds and hundreds of changes to them, certainly enough to merit their own article. --Macbeth 18:15, 29 May 2006 (CDT)

More articles can be created as needed, but for now, they can be added here for the moment. should the article get too big (like the PinkPT article which needs to be broken down soon), seperate articles can be made.--Jacob 22:57, 29 May 2006 (CDT)

Redirects[edit]

At the moment, old pet names (Fuzio, JibJib, etc) redirect to the current pet version's entry. Should we make them redirect here? --Macbeth 11:36, 28 May 2006 (CDT)

Yes, having them redirect here would be good. As soon as we figure out the name of this article (and other articles if there are going to be), as there are item/petpet names to consider as well.--Jacob 11:50, 28 May 2006 (CDT)

Proper category[edit]

Seeing this is the only article left in the secrets category, I would like to ask what the proper category for this article would be. I was thinking of Category:Colours or Category:Neopets Guides, but neither of them seems to fit.--Demon 10:20, 22 May 2007 (CDT)

As mentioned in the Community Portal discussion and in talks above, a new title and category is being considered for this article. For this article, we could call it "Neopet Redesigns", as it contains mostly Neopet changes. With this new title (and others for other subjects), we could very well add them to the new "Neopets Guides" category. If not, we can make a new category which would catalouge all articles which speak of the redesigns in Neopets. Neopets 2.0 would be part of it as well. Still, I seem pretty keen on simply categorizing this in "Neopets Guides" at the moment (being that it shows collected lists or data or certain topics). --Jacob 12:16, 22 May 2007 (CDT)
Article now has a new title and category, which should fit much better. Data about Petpets are now seperate as well. --Jacob 23:07, 24 May 2007 (CDT)

What did you do?![edit]

I can't edit the article "List of Neopets Redesigns", and I broke the link to "List of Petpet Redesings". I'm soooo silly! Boo hoo hoooo!

Some old pets need[edit]

You should add some description of them like for the Gelert - The Polypup likes to play and hang out with all its friends. Polypups can be masters of magic and if trained properly, they can fight well, too. Also the Buzz - Fleyes come from the outer regions of Neopia, where no one can pass on foot. Fleyes have evolved acute eyesight and flying prowess to survive in this harsh environment. 98.177.163.193 00:43, 4 November 2013 (UTC)
