The following letter replaced the customization page on April 24, 2007 (may have appeared some time before this)...

If you participated, thank you! As promised, all your Neopets have returned to normal and all test items have been removed. (No, you can't keep that Royal Cloak! GOSH!) If you didn't participate... well, we won't hold a grudge.

We're still accepting feedback so, if you haven't already, please remember to submit comments or bugs using the link below. It's really easy, and it makes you 0.18% cooler every time you use it!

You'll hear more about Customisation in the coming days, so be sure to check New Features!

I'm sorta wishing it started up this article before then. :S In either case, the information can continue to be gathered here, and when the official title and program is released, the information can be directed to that page. It's an interesting feature to have on Neopets, and i wonder what it will mean in the long run...lots of hardship on the artists and programmers I bet. ;P I wonder when they will try and bring forth Neoschools? Pet redraws

Since it is pretty much confirmed that the new pet designs are here to stay, what will we do on the NeoDex about the pet pictures on their articles? I guess we could start (or at the very least consider) uploading the new pictures and replacing the old. --Dizzy 00:37, 12 May 2007 (CDT)

the redrawn images of neopets will, yes, eventually need to be added. But the images already on the NeoDex will stay. They can be put onto the "Neopet redesigns" page (currently Old Neopets) or something like that. Thank you for the link SwordFire. Hopefully the owner of those pets do not decide to customize their pet further in the future. The image might change after each customization. By the way, only the customizing images are using the new redrawn images currently. The images at "Create a Neopet" are still using the old design. --SwordFire 11:14, 12 May 2007 (CDT)

I have asked the owner of the German Neocolours. The pictures are stored on their local server in their native form, without background etc. We (meaning Neodex) are allowed to use the pictures for uploading as long we provide a little note where the pictures are from, e.g. "Picture of a Speckled Lupe, taken from neocolours.de". So there should be no problems finding pictures, if these conditions are acceptable. :) The URLs of the images have the form
