Not a redirect?

While the feather can be traded around on the main site, why shouldn't this be a section of the Neopets Mobile game, when it's the only place it can be used? --Jacob 20:12, 6 Sep 2007 (UTC)

Funny coming from the guy who said: "it's important for the articles to focus on the subject". :)

What I mean to say is that, IF feathers should be part of any article, it's not Neopets Mobile, but rather Lutari Island or the Survival Academy. Sure, feathers can only be used via Neopets Mobile, but that's an indirect link. Feathers can only be used on Lutari Island and coincidentally, Lutari Island can only be accessed through Neopets Mobile. There's a step in between that makes it unfit for the Neopets Mobile page as anymore than a small mentioning. It could be a section of a/the (future) Survival Academy article. However, I think it deserves its own page, because dubloons and codestones also have their own pages. There may be a whole lot more to tell about them and they may be collections, rather than just one item; in essence they are all the same. Like, each character gets his/her own article, regardless of how much info is available. I can think of only a few cases in which two or three characters share an article, and that's only because they either can't be split or because giving them each an own article would result in two identical articles, except for the name when refering to the subject. This is not the case for feathers, which is why I think they should have their own article. DreamingLady 09:25, 7 Sep 2007 (UTC)

A complex situation, don't you think? And just to get it quickly said, there are no "feathers", just "feather". There is only one type of Lutari Feather. ;) I still don't see it having it's own article, but it's all open for disccusion. Let's see...

Much about what to create for Lutari Island and Neopets Mobile material is still up in the air. I'm sure all games, quests, locations and characters will get their own articles, But I don' think the feather is one of those things. As stated, may be better off in the Survival Academy. Dubloons and Codestones have their own articles not just because they are currency, but they have a history and a manner of different uses on Neopets, unlike the feather which has only one purpose in a very exclusive way. All characters recieve an article on the NeoDex because...all characters get an article. If they exist in Neopia, they they must be noted. And if they are a pair of characters, redirects are your best friend in the NeoDex. :D

Well, I don't know much about the Neopets Mobile service, so I don't know how well my opinion is warranted, but I would think it's OK for this article to exist... There isn't a lot to say about them, though, so it may do better merged with Survival Academy - if we had an article on it, I suppose. --Macbeth 16:53, 19 Oct 2007 (UTC)
