Dr. Landelbrot is a Lutari scientist who summoned numerous Neopians to his spaceship. During the Moltara Mystery, he revealed that he is responsible for the Random Events that take place on Neopets.com.

Moltara Mystery
Landelbrot was first spotted on site when he attempted to contact several Neopians via Random Event. When users later discovered the Water Tower Laboratory, they had to complete a series of puzzles to activate a portal held within. Once fully activated, the portal led to The Coincidence, Landelbrot's spaceship in orbit around Neopia. Here, he instructed users to collect various items to help him fix his Random Event machine.
