The Chomby is a shy, plant-eating Limited Edition Neopet reminiscent of an Apatosaurus and a Stegosaurus. Chombies come from Tyrannia, and first appeared on the site when Tyrannia was discovered on 21 March 2001. They were first available to adopt the following day.

The Chomby is a hefty Neopet - a single one can shake the ground on its own. The Maraquan Chomby is a reference to the legend of the Loch Ness Monster. In the Neopets Trading Card Game, they are associated with the element of light.

bt: my reply wasn't much of an answer at all, but you are wcoelme.:) Of course, in the gauge theory we are not talking about the formation of black holes, but rather a ball of gluon plasma in the deconfined phase.:)
