The following is a collected list of programs/tools for Neopets which make it easier to navigate the website or help you understand the game better.
Neopets
Neopets Premium
Not a program, but a whole new login and playing experience. Neopets Premium is a paid service provided by Neopets.
Neopets Toolbar
A toolbar Neopets provides to users, offering quicklinks.
Outside Neopets
While there are programs you can use outside of Neopets, it should be noted no user is allowed to use outside coding to play the game for them, or to gain an unfair advantage. The NeoDex does not endorse cheating of any kind, and doing so will either get a user suspended for a period of time or Frozen.
Mozilla Firefox
Mozilla Firefox is a web broswer. It has gained popularity with it's easy to use interface, and more advanced options than other Internet browsers. Extensions, or add on programs, can be added to it to change how Firefox displays web pages. For example, some extensions can block banner ads and pop-ups placed within websites, including Neopets.
ImproveNeo
ImproveNeo began as a Greasemonkey script being developed by a user within the Neodaq Forum. With the script, users can remove ads, have stocks recommended to them, dynamically look-up Shop Wizard prices, have the script alert them to under-priced items, and hide user's shop descriptions so as to make buying items easier.
The first version of the script, 0.1, was released to the general public on February 19, 2006. Since then, it has been updated many times, with 0.8 being the latest version.
At this point, the legality of the program is up in the air. The creator himself mentioned using the program is risky, as it could get you frozen. (and TNT knowing about the project would get him in trouble).
Neohax

Neohax is a Greasemonkey script that does the following.
- Adds links to your guild, shop, and petpages to the sidebar.
- Adds an inventory button that shows an altered version of the inventry page in a pop up (Only shows item images, no sidebar)
- Shows the jelly world board on the neoboard page
- Lets you change your Avatar from the SHH
- Lets you turn off fonts.
- Lets you enter custom interests.
- Disables neomail (A Glitch, you must disable grease monkey to use neomail again)
is also known as NeopetsFix.
NeoDaq.xls
The NeoDaq.xls is an excel spreadsheet created and maintained by the Neodaq community that is used to keep track of your neopian stock market portfolio. This comprehensive tool tracks all your buys and sales and calculates numerous statistics making playing the stock market a breeze. The legality of the spreadsheet was questioned at one point, but was found to be acceptable due to the fact it does not actually automate anything, but only organizes and tracks information.
A note about macros: Excel files (.xls) have the capability of containing possibly harmful files called macros. You should never download and run these unless you trust the source.
Shop.xls
The Shop.xls is another excel spreadsheet to come out of Neodaq. This one, made by abreev8, tracks your shop and SDB making malling much easier. Add a list of items you want to stock in your shop and how many of them you want to keep in stock and the shop.xls will tell you what items you need to buy to refill your shop and much more. This is an invaluable tool to mallers.

Version 2 of this spreadsheet is currently in the works and it promises many more useful features.

ImproveNeo Designer
Created by "Littlemac" of the Neodaq Forums. It is an online tool that helps you design your shop page.
Star Maps
During the Altador Plot, certain users of Neopets were able to decode the workings of the stars and present programs for people to use, which allowed people to find their stars better.
