Broken in?[edit]

"Later that night, Brucey returned to his NeoHome and prepared for bed, intending to celebrate in style the next day when he noticed a letter lying on the floor. Failing to wonder how someone got inside his NeoHome, he read the letter..."

No one got inside, it was posted through his door, surely? --Macbeth 08:21, 30 Dec 2006 (CST)

If a note was lying on the floor of his neohome home while he was away, i think it can be said his home was broken into. If Neopets meant something else besides this (which i sourced from here), i wish they could have explained better. do you think they meant to say someone left a letter through the mail slot of the door (which they failed to say if he had one or not of course)? --Jacob 19:23, 30 Dec 2006 (CST)

A letter box, yes. I think he would have noticed if someone had broken in...

I think it is safe to assume he had a letter box, as this was 2001, when TNT were particularly... Erm... 'British'... "Almost all buildings in the United Kingdom feature letter boxes"... In more recent years, American spellings, dates, and concepts have been appearing more frequently, so if this plot took place, perhaps, this year, then there would be a margin of doubt as to whether this was the case...

I think it is reasonable, especially as the appearance of the letter was a minor point in the plot, to assume it was nothing as sinister as breaking into someone's house. --Macbeth 11:28, 31 Dec 2006 (CST)
