History of Altador

Made a section titled as so because I wanted to simply place the text somewhere. Does it fit? Also, is all that text accurate? Due to what the Book of Ages says (which I think deserves its own article and not bits and pieces thrown around the 12 heroes pages), the heroes were given long life due to the magic of the Light Faerie, so The Darkest Faerie couldn't have "done the deed" because of age. Also, how she did it seems a little different than how it was explained at the end of the Altador Plot. So...yeah. Just wanted to see if some research could be started. And have discussion on how the data should be presented. --Jacob 17:53, 13 Jan 2008 (UTC)

In the Epilogue in the Book of Ages, it states that Siyana blessed the other Heroes with great longevity (living a long time) which is not the same thing as immortality (never dying). Since we don’t know exactly how long the 12 Heroes ruled peacefully nor what the limitations on Siyana's blessing are, it could have been a long enough time that this longevity started to “wear off” and gave the Darkest Faerie her ideas of ruling over the city alone. If that made no sense, also remember that it was mentioned in the Epilogue that another possible reason for her betrayal is: Although the Betrayer hated having her ideas declined [use the military to conquer neighbouring cities], she could only admit that Altador's wisdom was once again correct. Some feel that events such as these sowed the seeds for her future betrayal.
My point is, that there might be some way to reconcile the conflicting plot points although it might require some extra research ;P As for how she did the deed, I’m not adequately familiar with the game to comment but I do agree that the Book of Ages deserves it’s own article. Phew! --Dizzy 01:58, 14 Jan 2008 (UTC)
