Announced by Neopets on the 31st of May 2006 to be released in June, the Altador Cup appears to be made to co-incide with the World Cup in Germany of 2006.

At a first glance, it looks to be more of hand-ball than soccer, although it is somewhat premised on the soccer game.

Furthermore, the ball appears to be a rolled up neopet-type creature.
