The Grackle Bug is a Desert Petpet released on March 11, 2005. Grackle Bugs are insect-like and closely resemble a blue, lobster.

Grackle bugs have the distinction of being edible. There are a number of Neopian food items featuring Grackle Bug as an ingredient, including Grackle Bug on a Stick, Mayo-Doused Batter-Fried Grackle Bugs with Honey Walnuts, Grackle Bug Steak, and Grackle Bug Brew.
