A Wadjet

The Wadjet is a snake-like Desert Petpet found in the Lost Desert. It loves nothing better than to wrap around a Neopets neck, and is sometimes mistaken for a necklace. Interesting enough, it's stated in the Wadjet Neopets TCG card the discovery of the Wadjet sparked a fashion craze in the Lost Desert, resulting in many clothes and Neopet colours to be adorned with the shape of the Wadjet. The Wadjet first appeared in Neopia on June 22, 2001.

• As of January 2008, the Wadjet are featured in 6 different items.
• Wadjets are affiliated with the element of darkness in the Neopets TCG.
• Wadjets were featured in Brucey B and the Lucky Coin, where it was shown Capara held a fear of them, and was even turned into one.
• The name Wadjet comes from an Egyptian goddess who was depicted as a snake, which this petpet resembles. Wadjet can also refer to the Eye of Horus.
