List of Useful Tools
The following is a collected list of programs/tools for Neopets which make it easier to navigate the website or help you understand the game better.
Neopets
Neopets Premium
Not a program, but a whole new login and playing experience. Neopets Premium is a paid service provided by Neopets.
Neopets Toolbar
A toolbar Neopets provides to users, offering quicklinks.
Outside Neopets
While there are programs you can use outside of Neopets, it should be noted no user is allowed to use outside coding to play the game for them, or to gain an unfair advantage. Players who do so will either be suspended for a period of time or Frozen.
Mozzilla Firefox
Mozilla Firefox is a web broswer, which has gained popularity with it's easy to use interface, and more advanced options than other Internet browsers. Normal extensions added to them can also block banner ads and pop-ups placed within websites, including Neopets.
ImproveNeo
(( The NeoDex does not endorse the following program, its creators, or what it will allow you to accomplish on Neopets. This is merely here for historical purposes, and nothing more. --Jacob 19:01, 17 Apr 2006 (CDT) ))
ImproveNeo began as a Greasemonkey script being developed by a users within the Neodaq Forum. With the script, users can remove ads, have stocks reccommended to them, and facilitates easier look-up of Shop Wizard prices.
At this point, the legaility of the program is up in the air, as the creator of the program himself mentioned using the program is risky, as it's likely to get you frozen (and the TNT knowing about the project would get him in trouble). Until more word is brought forth on how Neopets feels about this, use of the program should be held with caution.
Star Maps
During the Altador Plot, certain users of Neopets were able to decode the workings of the stars and present programs for people to use, which allowed people to find their stars better.
Ye Olde Star Mapper
Created by darkfire of the PinkPT forums.
