A Pyon
The Pyon is a scorpion-like Desert Petpet that was released on October 5, 2006. The Pyon is a great tracker, being able to sniff out anything buried in the desert sand. Don't cross it, however, or you'll be met with the sting of its tail.

- The Pyon was selected for Week 217 of the Petpet Protection League.
- In the game Neopets Puzzle Adventure, a Pyon Petpet can be used to protect five selected tokens from being coverted, moved or destroyed for five turns.
