What is a stub?

A stub is any page that is shorty and stubb... an unfinnished article.

The term first turned up in the wikpedia and they are generally credited with inventing the idea.

A page marked stub means that someone or many someones feel that there could be more said.

is a stub good or bad

It is generally felt that a stub is good as it is one step closer to a full article and a million miles further forward than no article at all.

It is something that can grow, be added to and get bigger. Like a sappling.
