Neera was once a Princess of Sakhmet, but is long since dead. She fell in love with a peasant, and brought shame on the royal family. Her father cast her out, doomed to live on the streets forever. One of her known descendants is Nabile, and the two share an uncanny likeness. This was all clear in The Lost Desert Plot.
