The Darigan Citadel is a large floating fortress that hangs in the sky over Meridell. It was released on November 20, 2002, as part of the Champions of Meridell plot. The citizens of the Citadel used a plentiful land of there own. However, King Skarl's knights stole a magical orb that kept the kingdom prosperous. Because of Skral's greedy act, the Citadel has been at war with Merdell twice.

Darigan Citadel is one of the best teams in the league, having an average of 5th place, they've won a bronze, silver, and gold. Known for their offensive play and goal-tending, thy may not have the most polite fans, but they have a lot of them.

Darigan is one of the many colours that users can paint their Neopets and Petpets. Darigan pets are generally purple, yellow, blue, or red in colour and have black accents. The Darigan colour for Neopets was released on April 10, 2003, and the Darigan colour for Petpets was released on November 22, 2005
