The Gnorbu is a Llama-like Neopet released on January 6, 2006. Gnorbu known for their spirited sense of humour, and enjoy making others laugh even if it's at their own expense. Despite its natural lack of agility, the Gnorbu has a kind heart and a good-natured outlook that can win it many friends. They also enjoy social activities such as browsing through shops in Neopia Central or eating with their closest friends.

The Gnorbu was originally made public under the name Llamameeah, as part of the April Fool's joke in 2005. Several months after voting was held for what April Fool's Neopet to release, a few images of the Gnorbu appeared on the image servers. It is the least popular of the Neopets not Limited Edition.

Trivia

  • As of August 2007, there were over 917 thousand Gnorbu created, placing them 44th in popularity out of 54 Neopets. They are featured in 48 different items.
  • Some users have suggested that, as the Gnorbu is the least popular non-limited edition pet, it would have been better had TNT and the voters chosen another of the proposed Neopets.
  • Although there is no audio provided on the Neopian Pronunciation page, Gnorbu is pronounced nore-boo according to the editorial in issue 236 of the Neopian Times.
