Lutari
The Lutari is an unreleased species of Neopet that resembles an otter, and was originally known as the Mok. Users of Neopets have been waiting for the release of this pet for almost a year now, as the images of the pet in its four basic colours as well as one painted colour have been on the image servers for a long time. One Lutari can already be seen on the site as the shopkeeper of a Neopian ice cream shop.
The Lutari will most likely be released along with the launch of Lutari Island, a new Neopian world which will only be accessible via mobile phones. In-fusio is the company developing this for Neopets. Little else is known about Lutari Island, which has also been referred to as In-fusio Island. However, a picture of the land has appeared in the Neopets Magazine, and many Lutari Island items have been found on the servers, including two petpets.
Users have expressed concern that it may cost real money (through having to use a mobile phone) to acquire a Lutari as a pet.
