Zafara

The adventurous Zafara is rumored to bring good luck primate to its owner and were released on May 25, 2000. Zafaras originally resembled ferrets and kangaroo was the winner of a player-submitted Neopet competition, but were later redesigned into lemur-like mammal. They are of slightly above-average popularity among players.
In the Neopets TCG, Zafaras are associated with the element of light.
As of March 2006, the Zafara ranked 17th out of 50+ species on the site. Over 4 million have been created.
