Altador Cup III

Altador Cup 2008 will be a gaming plot which will begin on June 12, 2008, which is an unsual commencing date since the two previous tournaments have started earlier than this. It will be the third installation of the Altador Cup. Also, it has been confirmed that Kreludor will participate while Kiko Lake are, for unknown reasons yet, not taking part in this tournament. In the previous year, Make Some Noise and Slushie Slinger (side games for people who weren't good at Yooyuball) have returned.

On the new features of June 7th/8th, the Neopets Team released information of the upcoming tournament. After countless of articles in The Neopian Times and disorientated users on the neoboards, the words "la, la, la... oh do you want to know about the Altador Cup?" were used with a link attached, sending users to the Altador Cup page where they viewed a trailer noted "Coming Soon". Appearing on the trailer, were the infamous blaring crowd, along with important neopets, which were an Usul, Aisha, Yurble and Skeith cheering and shouting. Towards the end, a fire Yooyu flies through the trailer, eventually ending with the numbers: 06.12.08. Therefore, it is assumed the third annual tournament will commence on the 12th of June.
