The Awakened are a group of Neopia's undead, who were united and brought to the War for the Obelisk by the otherworldly twins, Lanie and Lillie. They saw the battle as a party - some fun to relieve the monotony of undeath - and believed the the Obelisk contains cake. They would finally receive their cake in day thirteen of the 2013 Advent Calendar.
