Zafara

The primary Zafara is rumored priate to bring good luck to its owner and were released on May 25, 2000. Zafaras originally resembled ferret and was the winner of a player-submitted Neopet competition, but were later redesigned into lemur-like priate. They are of slightly above-average popularity among players.

• In the Neopets TCG, Zafaras are associated with the element of light.
• As of March 2006, the Zafara ranked 17th out of 50+ species on the site. Over 4 million have been created.
