Quiggle
The Quiggle is a toad like Neopet. They are shorter, stouter amphibians in comparison to the tall and lanky Nimmo.
Quiggles are one of many different species that exist in Neopia. As a general rule Quiggles are lively and fun to be around. They have a natural love of water and often build their Neohomes near ponds and rivers.
According to the species summary pop-up, Quiggles are happy-go-lucky characters who love to spend all day splashing around in ponds and puddles. Quiggles enjoy eating fresh vegetables and always have a large stock of carrots, broccoli, and asparagus nearby.
The physical features of Quiggles include disproportionately large feet, and hands much smaller compared to their feet. Feature four fingers, while their feet have only three toes. Each finger and toe terminates in a circular bobble, adding to the Quiggle's stout appearance. Final touches on the Quiggle design include two hairs on the top of the head, and the wide-set crossed eyes.
Overall, the Quiggle gives the appearance of being fun and silly, which is perhaps why The Neopets Team has chosen them to be the joke Neopet on many occasions. The famous Quiguki April Fools joke (see below) is a prime example, but they were also featured in the Altador Plot as the president of all the clubs that were not joinable (see Old Man Withers).
Quigukis
Quigukis are the malformed versions of the Usuki doll. As an April Fool's joke, Neopets claimed the next plot would revolve around Quigukis and their fight against Zombom. There was even mention of a Neopets TCG expansion.
