The Altachuck is a very shy creature who is afraid of sudden movements, loud noises and things starting with the letter D. Therefore, it needs a kind and loving owner, but it will be quite loyal to its owner for ever and ever.

- The Altachuck was selected for Week 180 of the Petpet Protection League.
- This Petpet is one of the prizes given out by King Altador.
- The Altachuck is one of the Petpets that is featured in the game Mop n Bop.
- It is rumoured they are related to Polarchucks, explaining their bear-like appearence and
the 'chuck' part of their name.
