The Turtmid is a Desert Petpet released on January 27, 2005. It's name is a mix of turtle and pyramid. If frightened, the Turtmid curls up inside its pyramid so nothing can harm it

- Turtmid sounds a lot like Turtwig, a species of Pokémon, although the Turtmid bears no resemblance to the Turtwig.
