Valrigard

Valrigard is a resourceful blue Draik who was imprisoned in Meridell Castle on the false charge of being a traitor and subsequently escaped. He is the star of the game Escape from Meridell Castle.

Valrigard's escape involved stealing a sword from the castle's armoury, careful knowledge of his guards' activities, and fighting his way through at least one guard who caught him.

• On December 27, 2007, Valrigard was featured in Better Than You, scoring 1000 in Escape from Meridell Castle. Prize was a The Draik. Quoted as saying...

  Just because I make it look easy doesn't mean breaking out of Meridell Castle is something just anyone can do. It's taken me years to learn all the passages and guard rotations. If you think you're so amazing, let's see how far you get! Be warned though... you'll have to do a pretty outstanding job to impress me.
