(changed ppt badge to refer to a template instead of being coded in here. There may also be a few surprises when you visit the main page from now on ;-))
(new front page that looks very similar, but has much tidier code and should therefore be easier to maintain. Includes drop shadows (because those are cool again) and it looks better when the fa and news are different lengths.)
