One day, King Coltzan invited five important guest to a feast in the Royal Palace.  During the feast, Coltzan was poisoned and subsequently died.  Users were tasked with finding Coltzan's murderer by using clues that were provided by [[TNT]].  At the end of the plot, it was revealed that it was Princess Sankara who had poisoned Coltzan.  She was anger at Coltzan because the he would not provide her with an army to reclaim her homeland.

King Coltzan III was a Lupe and the former King of Sakhmet. He was murdered by Princess Sankara during the Usurper! plot. His spirit now resides within Coltzan's Shrine, and his ghost sometimes gives out prizes to Neopets that visit the shrine to pay their respects. King Coltzan is survived by his two daughters, Princess Amira and Princess Vyssa.

The late King Coltzan's crown was stolen by two Meercas who were working for Malkus Vile. Players had to follow a series of clues to find the crown and return it to the Shrine.

Opening Dialogue:

Flee Dialogue:

Coltzan does not follow as you flee. "I suppose we must continue this later. I will wait."

Defeat Dialogue:

Coltzan grimaces as you fall to the ground. "Understand that I did not wish this... but it must be," he says, as you black out...

Victory Dialogue:

Coltzan's ghost withdraws from the fight, then suddenly he becomes more solid, more real... but still a spirit. "Thank you for releasing me from that evil grip," he says. "Come, we have much to talk about."
