The Spardel is a dog-like Petpet which isn't very intelligent, but makes up for this with the love it gives.

In the game Neopets Puzzle Adventure, a Spardel Petpet can be used to prevent an opponent from using any Petpets for three turns.
A dog that strongly resembles the Spardel is seen in Lindsay's audition tape from the TV show Total Drama Island.
