The Sproing is a species of Petpet. Although Sproings lives in water, they can bounce across land for short periods of time.

Swirly[edit]
During the time of Old Maraqua, there was a snail-like species of Petpet known as the Swirly. Shortly after the destruction of Maraqua, all of these Swirly Petpets were converted into Sproings. Petpets that were attached to a Neopet during this conversion were not effected by the change. This means that there are still a few users that have a Swirly attached to one of their Neopets. Whenever one of these remaining Swirly Petpets is removed from its Neopet, it is immediately converted into a Sproing.
