As well as the six types of basic [[Faerie]], there are also some extra powerful Uber-Faeries in [[Neopia]]. These special creatures cannot be captured easily, although you may come across one now and again. If they deem your pet to be worthy they can greatly increase its experience, strength, intelligence and abilities. You will meet an Uber-Faerie whenever your pet takes on a [[Quest]].
These [[quest]]s are given out by Uber Faeries, extra powerful versions of the basic [[Faerie]]s. Uber Faeries ask users to retrieve [[item]]s for them and in return they give a random one of the user's pets a certain stat-related reward, the exception being the Earth Faerie's quest, the reward for which is not stat-related. Unlike similar quests, such as the [[Esophagor]]'s or [[Jhudora]]'s, one cannot use the [[Shop Wizard|shop wizard]] while on one, but to compensate, there are no time limits.  


Although once, you were granted access to their secret lair and ask them for various tasks to do their bidding, after much scandalous acts, the uber-faeries have decided that it is better that they approach a person of their choosing to do their bidding. If you have been chosen, you have been singled out by that faerie from a possible millions of [[neopians]]. Do not let the uber-faeries down for failure could mean no more requests in the future!
As the shop wizard cannot be used while on a faerie quest, it can make them a nusiance for people who do not wish to, or cannot, complete them. If a user does not wish to do a quest, they can refuse it at the [http://neopets.com/quests.phtml Faerie Quest HQ], but this reduces the liklyhood of getting a new quest for some time afterwards (one must vist the faerie quest page again after ten minutes to make oneself eledgable again). To complete a quest, one must go to the HQ with the requested item in the user's inventory and click the form button to hand the item over.


When you are given an Uber Faerie Quest, one of the Uber Faeries will ask for an item. There is no time limit and delivering the item will get you a certain reward (Normally Stat Boosts), depending on the type of faerie:
Earth Faerie Quests are usually considered not worth the expense, as she ask for magic items, which are usually very expensive, and in return feeds one's pets, which is a low-cost activity.
