The Elderly colour was released on 8 May 2012. Users can change the colour of their Neopets to Elderly by using a Get Off My Lawn Paint Brush item at the Rainbow Pool. In addition, the Lab Ray also has a random chance of turning the colour of a user's Neopet to Elderly. Users also have the choice of changing their Neopet's colour to Elderly when they complete a Fountain Faerie Quest. Like Royal and Usuki, Elderly is one of the few colours that looks different for male and female Neopets of the same species.
