Count Von Roo was made available as a [[Battledome]] challenger on 30 August 2001. He can only be challenged between 12 am and 1 am NST - if the user attempts to fight him outside of these times, they are told, "The count only comes out at night...".
The Count's most powerful weapon is his Von Roo Spider, which only does 6 icons of damage, the Von Spider. This makes it easy for a Neopet with only a starter Battledome set to contend with him. The only thing a lower level Neopet would have to worry about is his high health, starting at 90 HP.

Count Von Roo's equipment is unintimidating to anyone. He has only one item that consistently does 6 icons of damage, the Von Spider. His second best weapon is the Grand Lightning Beam, which does from 4 to 6 icons of damage.
The only thing a lower level Neopet would have to worry about is his 90 HP. Count Von Roo lacks any substantial defensive weapons, so he can be taken out quickly with a few strong [[snowballs]], but since these are single use items this may be a bit expensive for some.
