The Belonthiss is a type of Fanciful Fauna Petpet. Though they primarily live underwater, they have been known to glide in the air through the use of their long fins. The Belonthiss was the winner of the Petpet Production Ponderance Poll and was officially released on May 10, 2011. It was nominated the Best New Petpet in the Fourth Annual Neopies on 24 January, 2012 but lost to the Schnelly.
