The sequel [http://www.neopets.com/games/nq2 Neoquest II] also follows the same "in the past feel" as [[NeoQuest]], but in actuality takes place in a hologram aboard a hijacked space ship. This surprised many players upon finding out, as they were expecting a story set in a medieval land. In this installation, a new battle system was implemented, along with the use of more party members (a total of 4). The party members are [[Velm]], [[Rohane]], [[Talinia]], and [[Mipsy]]. You start out with Rohane in the village of [[Trestin]], in [[Meridell]]. You are led to believe that to beat the game, you must defeat [[Ramtor]], King Skarl's usurping advisor.  It later turns out that you must journey through [[Terror Mountain]], The [[Lost Desert]], The [[Haunted Woods]], and [[Faerieland]].
