The Bilguss is a Pirate Petpet released on October 10, 2001, which doesn't resemble any real life creatures, and is more akin to a pincushion. Bilguss are always unhappy and never smile, and it's a mystery as to why this is. It's a low-cost Petpet, costing as low as 2,900 Neopoints at the Shop Wizard, which could be due to its 4 Dubloon cost at Krawk Island Nippers.
