The Macabre Stones were a one-player Battledome opponent available during the Tale of Woe plot. They were the second level opponent during the first wave of challengers that was released on November 2, 2006.
The Macabre Stones are simple gravestones that were brought to life by Mr. Krawley in order to slow down Gilly. Within the plot's story, Gilly is able to defeat the Macabre Stones using a gravedigger's shovel as a weapon.
