okay, thanks for clearing that up. your idea seems more efficient. i will try to keep the 2009 page up to date, and if you please, will research the 2008 daily dare and upload the information onto the 2008 page. | okay, thanks for clearing that up. your idea seems more efficient. i will try to keep the 2009 page up to date, and if you please, will research the 2008 daily dare and upload the information onto the 2008 page. |

I don't really mind
I don't really mind about continuous changes. NeoDex has to include some information about shop stocks. Take a look at this article: Faerie Weapon Shop A Neezles A 18:26, 7 March 2009 (UTC)
Talk with piano
He's underage, so I can't contact him through Neomail. And are you abided by COPPA? Is this site 13+ only? A Neezles A 16:41, 16 July 2009 (UTC)
- Sorry, my bad. But still, Neodex is not a place for private communication. As for COPPA, not for Neodex. --SwordFire ( talk | contrib ) 16:53, 16 July 2009 (UTC)
Hi I am the underage guy who's 8 years old. Allan Piano965
Winner's curse
Hey, short version: I deleted the article Winner's curse because quite frankly, I couldn't see how it was an article (see version history).
Long problem-filled version: As you may remember, I resigned a few months ago. So I don't know if the deletion I performed can be considered legitimate. Problem is, nobody ever removed my powers from me. I messaged Kym a few days ago about that. It would be nice if you could tell me what I am supposed to do and if I should restrain myself from sysop actions. --Demon 01:33, 30 August 2009 (UTC)
- Once you became sysop, you became a Neodex slave forever, muahaha! ;P
- Jokes aside, I agree that we should remove the sysop permission for inactive accounts (> 3~6 months?) and clearly resigned users, in case of account hijack. If they return again, we could add the sysop permission again. At the moment, if any one of us (sysop) go rouge, we might as well kill the whole Neodex (you know, due to lack of active Neodex administrator to stop rouge sysop in time). :P
- I had tried sending private message to Kym several times on the forum on a different issue, but I can't seem to get him. I will try again on another communication channel. In the mean time, I don't mind if you use the sysop power. Nice to see you again. :) --SwordFire ( talk | contrib ) 02:29, 30 August 2009 (UTC)
- Hehe, thanks mate :) Would be nice if you could also address the inactivity of User:NeoEva88 alongside with me.
- Looks like we really have got some activity problems at Neodex :/ At the moment, I do not intend to return (due to me being busy with lessons and real life) and as far as I can see, most of the others aren't very active either. We have like 5 active users at one time at most, of which maybe two are sysops *sigh* What are you gonna do, it has always been like that as far as I can remember. I am glad there are still a few (you, Dizzy and Emeraldosprey) who keep the thing running. Good job, guys :D *hands cookies* --Demon 23:03, 30 August 2009 (UTC)
- Hi guys, thanks for the pokes. I made all the changes requested and have removed sysop powers from inactive accounts identified. I usually reply to emails and PMs at 12 PM and 4 PM every day. If I haven't replied to any of your messages in three days, feel free to send it again.--Kym 02:17, 3 September 2009 (UTC)
- Kym, I don't really think this is a good idea because the inactive editors may come back sooner or later and will be shocked to see that they no longer have admin powers. Destiny Charlotte 02:23, 3 September 2009 (UTC)
Re: Thank you for your help
Ah, you're welcome! I myself have been kind of obsessed with Neopets lately, so why not help the Neodex with all these new things I've learned on Neopets and add them to NeoDex ;D Charlotte xoxo 03:33, 30 August 2009 (UTC)
- Oh, and the only active editors right now are you, me, and KyogreOfTheSea who helps out with the Daily Puzzle answers :D -- This comment was left unsigned by A Neezles A (talk | contribs)
- And of course, Dizzy and Emeraldosprey.
- That vandalism made by Hagrid was annoying, wasn't it? ;) -- This comment was left unsigned by A Neezles A (talk | contribs)
- And I could be very scary when annoyed. In worst cases, I'm willing to block the whole ISP for extended period of time (which I did it before). --SwordFire ( talk | contrib ) 18:56, 2 September 2009 (UTC)
- I'm currently an active user too. :P And also, would it be appropriate for the vandalized pages to be move-protected? I predict that the vandal would be back sometime later on. Pinkgirl34 22:35, 2 September 2009 (UTC)
- Yep, you were right. Hagrid is back on Wheeler user, but luckily Dizzy blocked him and moved all pages to what it was. Destiny Charlotte 02:03, 3 September 2009 (UTC)
- That was fast. :) Pinkgirl34 02:12, 3 September 2009 (UTC)
- Um, SwordFire, the vandalism attack came back on User:Tewapack and User:Willy on Wheels. Willy on Wheels? Wikipedia vandaliser-- I should have known! Destiny Charlotte 15:13, 3 September 2009 (UTC)
- And if you or any admin can PLEASE restore my userpage and talk page to the way it was! Destiny Charlotte 15:22, 3 September 2009 (UTC)
