Neggs are Neopet items - generally food or battledome weapons - that resemble eggs, but have stems, suggesting that they are grown from plants. There are two general categories for neggs: neggs that may be exchangeable for negg points, and neggs that can be bought at the Neggery for Neggpoints.
Regular neggs can be bought at the food shop in Neopia Central. Most, but not all of these neggs can be exchanged at the Neggery for a set number of Neggpoints. The penultimate of these is the Fish Negg, which is a retired negg, worth 50 Neggpoints.
