The Witch's Tower

ednacackle.gif

The Witch's Tower is where Edna gives out her quests, to which a user is rewarded a Spooky Food. Unlike Faerie Quests, Edna needs all sorts of different items that range from very expensive to very cheap. However, there is a two hour time limit, and you can do only 10 quests per day.

If you are extremely lucky, she may even decide to award the user her avatar, released on October 28th, 2003. Although rumoured to be randomly awarded, one of The Neopets Team's programmers claimed that this wasn't the case. While the criteria are still unknown, it seems that the quests requiring three items seem to be the most common ones that will reward the avatar.

Trivia

  • As of December 2006, Edna is featured in 16 different items.
  • Some items (such as the books Witchcraft Spells and Witch Hunting Techniques) and an early Advent Calendar animation still show what Edna looked like before her change in a Zafara occurred.
  • Edna was the Better Than You challenger for Carnival of Terror on April 8th, 2004.
  • On June 7, 2007, Edna was featured in Better Than You scoring 2,100 in Edna's Shadow. Reward was a Edna the Zafara Stamp. Quoted saying...

You! I need to make a bubbling wand of Cybunny charming! Go fetch me-- what? You just want to challenge me at my new game? Fine, fine! Go ahead and try. Just be quick about it!

  • Furwitch are said to hang around Edna's tower, begging for treats.
