The Kiko is an amphibious Neopet resembling a floating sphere with eyes, mouth and two paddle-like clawed arms. A notable feature of Kikos is the bandage they sport on their heads - the exact purpose of the bandage is unknown. Their arms are the primary mode of transportation in the water enabling the Kiko to travel at high speeds. To move about on land, Kikos have the extraordinary ability to levitate in the air without any visible source of propulsion.

Kikos are an aquatic Neopet, and also one of the oldest on the site. As babies, they cannot leave the water for long periods of time, and they like to remain near it as adults. When older, the Kiko can pack a mean water pumped attack on any animal or object it views as a potential threat.


Kikos swim through the water, but no one is completely sure how they move about on land.  The common idea is that they levitate.
Kikos come from [[Kiko Lake]], a mini world that can be accessed through the explore page.  They were changed to a limited edition pet around the time their home world was introduced. Kikos come in colours only available to a few other species. They can be painted Clay and Garlic like the [[Jubjub]] and the only ones besides [[Chia]]s that come in Chokato.
