Players could join one of the two teams to help them win the competition. The two teams received some different challenges to each other.

This year, the theme of the event was Sun vs Moon. Users could either join Team Sun, lead by [[Siyana]], or Team Moon, lead by [[Princess Lunara]].  The challenges issued to each user differed depending on which team they joined.
For the first time since 2009, [[Lulu]] did not appear in conjunction with this event. Instead, players could visit [[Reslen]]'s planetarium in the [[NC Mall]].
